Things to read about booking with us

General Terms:

The use of caravan electricity is not permitted to be used for the charging of electic vehicles.

The maximum capacity of 6 people in the caravan must not be exceeded.

Any violation of these policies will result in your holiday being cancelled and you will be removed from the van and no refund given.

Payment Policy:

When booking your holiday you can choose to pay a £100 deposit or the full holiday amount. Should you choose to pay only the £100 deposit your card details will be securely stored and the remaining balance will automatically be charged 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

A £100 security deposit will be charged when paying in full, or as part of your balancing payment to cover any damage, loss of keys or other incidentals. After your holiday the security deposit will be refunded back to the same payment card used unless any damage has been reported.

We do not offer any insurance policy on bookings and as such we recommend you have your own insurance policy in place.

Cancellation Policy:

We really hope you don’t end up cancelling your holiday. But if you do, here’s what you’ll get back from the amount you have paid, depending on the amount of time until your holiday was due to commence. NB: The £100 security deposit will always be returned for every cancellation on top of the amounts detailed below from your holiday cost.

57 days or more: Full refund minus a cancellation fee of £50.

56-29 days: 50% of your total holiday cost will be refunded.

29-8 days: 10% of your total holiday cost will be refunded.

7 days or less: No refund for cancellation within 7 days of arrival

On a discretionary basis and subject to availability we may be willing to change your dates. In this instance the difference between the date you decide to change and arrival date will still apply to cancellations. For example, you were due to arrive in 14 days and if you move the date forward 2 months and then cancel immediately, the time period of 14 days would apply to any refund given. All refunds will also include the security deposit that was paid at the time of booking.

Haven No Quibble Refund Policy:

Please note that this policy does not apply to private rentals at Fir Close 24. Our van is cleaned to the highest standards, fully sanitised and disinfected throughout after every guest departure and before every new guest arrival.

Website Pricing Errors Disclaimer:

Although every effort is made to ensure all pricing on the website is correct in the event a booking is made and subsequently the pricing is found to have not calculated correctly through the website we reserve the right to contact you to inform you of the correct pricing. At this time you will be offered to keep your reservation at the updated (correct) pricing, move your booking to different dates that are in line with the price originally displayed, or to cancel your booking. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Covid 19 Information

Please take close attention to the details provided below during the Covid-19 Outbreak:

Unfortunately, during this time we have had to make some changes to how we rent out our van. It is not how we envisaged, but to keep our guests and our family safe we have put in the following safety measures to ensure there is limited risk. However, we know that you will still be able to enjoy a socially distanced holiday in our gorgeous van and enjoy sitting on the decking looking at the views. Please note that we have reduced our prices to reflect the safety measures.

  • Bed linen will not be provided, please bring your own. Duvets and pillows are available but you can bring your own too if you wish.
  • Tea Towels will not be provided.
  • All board games have been removed.
  • The Nintendo Wii has been removed.
  • All ornaments have been removed.
  • Attention will have been focussed on all touch points and will have been cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaner before arrival.
  • We are not able to provide our usual Welcome Pack.
  • If at any time during your holiday with us you become unwell with any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please call us, pack up immediately and head straight home. We then have a protocol that we have to follow with Haven.
  • Please ensure you have travel insurance as we do not provide this which is stated in our Terms and Conditions. Should the park close unexpectedly prior to your stay due to another lockdown, you will be fully refunded or have the option to move to another date in the future with no change fee being charged. Any difference in price will apply.
